Why not learn about Newts before perving off to a new site?
A newt is an amphibian in the Salamander family, although not all aquatic salamanders are considered newts. Newts are classified in a subfamily of the Salamander family. They are found in or near freshwater in North America, Europe, Asia, and North Africa. Still with me, perv?
Newts metamorphose through three distinct developmental life stages: aquatic larva, terrestrial juvenile (called an "eft"), and adult. Most newts spend part of their lives in water and part on land. Adult newts have lizard-like bodies and may be either fully aquatic, living permanently in the water, or semi-aquatic, living terrestrially but returning to the water each year to breed - I'm sure the word breed got your attention...perv.
Most newts are characterised by a lizard-like body two to six inches (5 to 15 cm) long with slender bodies, 4 equal sized legs, and distinct, long tails. They are greenish, brownish, or blackish above, and yellowish, orangish, or reddish below. The body is typically striped or spotted. The skin of many species secretes a substance that is toxic to predators. Aquatic larvae have true teeth on both upper and lower jaws and external gills.
Newts feed on insects, spiders, worms, crustaceans, molluscs, and the eggs and larvae of other amphibians. Yum.
They have the ability to regenerate limbs, eyes, spinal cords, hearts, intestines, and upper and lower jaws. The cells at the site of the injury have the ability to de-differentiate, reproduce rapidly (I know what you're thinking...), and differentiate again to create a new limb or organ. One theory is that the de-differentiated cells are related to tumour cells since chemicals which produce tumours in other animals will produce additional limbs in newts.
Newt populations have fallen across the world, due to pollution or destruction of their breeding sites and terrestrial habitats. Some countries such as the USA and the UK have taken steps to halt their decline
Now isn't that much cooler than perving for Nude Cams?
